Initiative: REVIVE! Training
REVIVE! trains individuals on what to do and not do in an opioid overdose situation, how to administer naloxone, and what to do afterwards.
Take a 60-min. virtual class held via Zoom. After completion, receive a Revive Kit and/or no-cost Naloxone (for residents of Fairfax Co. and Cities of Falls Church/Fairfax only).
Opioid Awareness
Initiative: KnowRx
Understand the addictive dangers of opioid pain medications, alternative pain management and safe and responsible means of disposing of them locally.
Safe Medication Disposal
Initiative: DEA Prescription Drug Take Back
A safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
No Smoking/Vaping
Initiative – This is Quitting
A first-of-its-kind program to help young people quit vaping, “This is Quitting” has helped nearly 500,000 youth and young adults on their journey to quit vaping.
